Extension
Spring Cables are generally constructed
with a 7x7 cable in diameters of 3/32" or 1/8". The standard
configuration is a loop on one end and a bare end on the other. The
length of the cable is measured from the bearing surface of the loop
to the end of the cable. Cables are ordered in pairs.
Torsion Spring Cables
are constructed with 7x7 or 7x19 cable in diameters of 3/32",
1/8", 5/32" or 3/16". Our standard configuration is
a loop on one end and a stop on the other end.

ends can be plain or reinforced with a thimble or cable spool eye.
Stops are made of aluminum. Cable lengths are measured between the
bearing surfaces as shown in Figure 1. Cables are ordered in pairs.

Commercial
Torsion Spring Cables are generally
constructed with 7x19 cable in diameters of 3/32", 5/32"
or 3/16". The cables are reinforced to handle industrial or
heavy duty applications. The standard configuration is a thimbled
loop on one end and 2 stops (floating and fixed) on the other end
as shown in Figure 2. Cable lengths are measured from the bearing
surfaces of the loop and the fixed stop. Cables are ordered in pairs.

Cables are constructed with a 3/32" 7x7 cable. Our
standard configuration is with a stop on one end and a bare end
on the other.
